Hi, I’m Echo!
About Echo Art & Design
I’m a Boston-based calligrapher and live event artist who specializes in brand activations and on-site personalization through calligraphy, engraving, and other hand-crafted mediums.
My work blends artistry and experience to help luxury brands and event planners create meaningful moments for their guests. I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with Prada, Dior, Sézane, Bottega Veneta, Brunello Cucinelli, The House of Creed, MAC Cosmetics, Nordstrom, Deutsch Family Wine and Spirits , Glenfiddich, and Hess Persson Estates, among many others.
What I love most about live event artistry is how it turns a small detail like a name, a message, an engraving, into a lasting memory. Whether I’m customizing fragrance bottles or foiling leather goods, I bring precision, warmth, and calm professionalism to every activation.
My Path to the Craft
My obsession with lettering started early! Even as a kid, I loved experimenting with my handwriting and different lettering styles. While studying art in college, I took a letterform class where I learned some of the basics of pointed pen, broad edge and monoline foundational scripts and instantly fell in love with calligraphy.
Over the next twenty years, I continued to explore and refine my style. In 2020, I deepened my studies with world-renowned instructors, including Paul Antonio (PA Scribe), whose technical approach to scripts transformed the way I think about form, flow, and consistency.
That dedication to craftsmanship is the foundation of everything I do, both in my live events and as an instructor with Sip & Script, where I teach modern calligraphy classes around New England.
Beyond the Table
Before live event artistry became my focus, I built my business through custom design, creating invitations and event details that told each client’s unique story. That love of cohesive design still shows up in my work today! Every activation I create is carefully aligned with my client’s brand aesthetic and atmosphere.
I also continue to take on select design collaborations with alopecia-owned businesses, a passion project close to my heart. Living with alopecia has connected me to a vibrant, creative community, and I love using my skills to bring awareness and amplify their stories.
A Creative Life, Inside and Out
When I’m not lettering, engraving, or teaching, you’ll usually find me creating something else like DIY projects with my husband, crafting with my daughters, or dreaming up another themed party or handmade Halloween costume. Creativity has always been a thread that runs through everything I do.
Let’s Create Something Memorable!
If you’re planning an event where the details matter, the kind guests pause for and remember, I would love to help create something thoughtful, personal, and beautifully crafted.
